Our local honey comes from Korsgaard Farms, a family farm nestled in the Platteville countryside.
Their hardworking bees gather nectar from native blooms and seasonal wildflowers, creating pure, raw wildflower honey that reflects the unique character of each Colorado harvest.
Using traditional, small-scale practices, Korsgaard Farms cares deeply for both the bees and the land they call home. Every jar is a little taste of Colorado’s open spaces, changing seasons, and nature doing what it does best.
We love being able to offer honey that comes from right here in our own community—from their family farm to your table.

Where Did the Name
“Randy Red’s Reads” Come From?
Why choose the name Randy Red’s Reads?! Well, let me tell you a little, funny story about my parents. Apparently, CB radios were common to have in the boating/camping community in the 70s and 80s. When my parents first got together, my dad thought it would be funny to give my mom the CB handle of Randy Red. My sweet, naïve, red-headed mom didn’t know what “randy” meant till another trucker filled her in, but at that point, it was too late, and she was known as Randy Red. In my dad’s defense, he didn’t think he and my mom would be together very long.
41 years later, my mom just shook her head at my dad.
My mom was an avid reader, and she passed on what I would say is a love of books to me… I’m working on being better about reading my TBR pile… haha, but many of my fondest memories of my mom when I was young include going to Waldenbooks in the Greeley Mall as well as the Centennial Library (her library of choice).
It's my great honor to choose the name Randy Red’s Reads as the name of my bookstore to celebrate the reader/book lover my mom was. Her legacy will continue to live on in this cute, little shop. I’m so excited to spread a love of reading/books to the Northern Colorado community!! The Triple R, as I’m lovingly nicknaming the shop, is so happy you’re here!!

WIN-JO'S by RANDI JO
Since our initial move into the building, 2 years ago, many of you have asked about the beautifully painted windowon my wall. Much to your disappointment, that window is not for sale, simply because it was a gift from my daughter for our big 'someday' moment. BUT when we decided to bring in new vendors into the space for our re-opening, I had to ask her to make some more. So not only are these windows a beautiful addition to any room, they are also special to me personally because they are made by one of my favorite humans and one of the most talented artists I know (can you hear my bias talking?), my daughter - Randi Jo.
Her windows are one of a kind.
She made some for every season and will be adding to them as she can when she is home from college. Stop in and see them for yourself. They are pretty amazing!
